Gaming Report Upload Blocked – Manual Edit Detected

Resolve upload issues caused by manual edits in Gaming data

If you are unable to upload a Gaming Report in Quantaco, it is likely because the Gaming data within the Cashup has been manually edited.

When manual changes are made to Gaming figures (such as Machine Clearances), Quantaco blocks the Gaming Report upload. This safeguard helps prevent accidentally overwriting manually entered data.

You will see a notification indicating that the Gaming data has been edited.

Why This Happens

Quantaco enforces this restriction to:

  • Protect manually entered or corrected Gaming data
  • Prevent unintended data loss during file uploads
  • Ensure data accuracy and audit integrity

How to Upload the Gaming Report

Step 1: Navigate to the Gaming Tab

Open the relevant Cashup and select the Gaming tab.

If Gaming data has been manually edited, a notification banner will be displayed stating:

"Gaming data has been manually edited. To override this edit, tick the checkbox and

proceed to upload the gaming report again."

Step 2: Select the Manual Edit Indicator

Locate and click the red pen icon displayed beside the edited Gaming data.

Step 3: Confirm the Override

A confirmation message will appear asking whether you would like to override the manually entered data.

Select Yes.

Step 4: Upload the Gaming Report

Once the override has been confirmed:

  1. Click Upload File.
  2. Select the Gaming Report file.
  3. Upload the report as normal.

The Gaming Report will now successfully import and replace the manually entered values.

Important Notes
  • This process will overwrite any manually entered Gaming data.
  • Review the Gaming figures before proceeding to ensure the manual edits are no longer required.
  • If the manual edits need to be retained, do not override the data.
