What is a gaming entry variance?
A gaming entry variance occurs when Metered NET profit does not match banked NET profit.
- Metered NET Profit = Turnover - Wins - Jackpots
NET Profit recorded by the venue, exclusive of any cash movements. - Banked NET Profit = Cash Cleared - Payouts
NET Profit banked by the venue, inclusive of any cash movements.
Reviewing data entered into Cashup
1. In Global, generate a Management Summary report
2. In Cashup, generate a Gaming reportTip: To generate a Gaming report, click on Cashup Reports > Gaming Report > Check date filter is set to correct date > Download Gaming Report.
3. Compare the two reports to ensure all fields from the report are entered correctly
