How to review gaming entry variances - S7000

What is a gaming entry variance?

A gaming entry variance occurs when Metered NET profit does not match banked NET profit.

  • Metered NET Profit = Turnover - Wins - Jackpots
NET Profit recorded by the venue, exclusive of any cash movements.
  • Banked NET Profit = Cash Cleared - Payouts
NET Profit banked by the venue, inclusive of any cash movements.

Reviewing data entered into Cashup

  1. In S7000, generate a NSW Pub Activity report
  2. In Cashup, generate a Gaming report
  3. Compare the reports to ensure all fields from each report are entered correctly into Cashup – you will need to check data entered into the Gaming tab, CCU tab, and CRT tab
  4. In S7000, generate a NSW Cashflow Analysis Report, enter the CCR variance into "Unclaimed Movement" which will adjust the Banked v Metered Variance to reflect any cash movements
